Welcome to my practice! I have lived in the Virginia-Highlands/Morningside neighborhood since 1998, and I am pleased to be practicing in our community. Since completing my Psychiatry residency training at Emory University in 1995, I have been practicing Psychiatry in private practice. Further, I have been a Principle Investigator and Medical Director in numerous worldwide clinical research trials which has allowed me to gain expertise in a wide range of mental health issues. As a Board Certified Psychiatrist, I have practiced both as a Psychopharmacologist managing medications and as a Psychotherapist. My emphasis has always been to thoughtfully listen and understand, whether I am managing medications or providing counseling. I am confident that I will provide you with quality care in a comfortable and supportive setting.
